Founder and Executive Director, The Jack Brewer Foundation

Jack Brewer is a globally recognized minister, humanitarian, business executive, political thought leader, media contributor, and former NFL team captain. As the Founder and Executive Director of The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide), he has dedicated his life to serving the fatherless, the poor, the widowed, and the imprisoned drawing from biblical principles to combat some of the world’s greatest humanitarian crises. Under his leadership, JBF has delivered over $80 million in medical aid, served 55+ orphan care centers, and provided critical support to over 20,000 women and children worldwide. The foundation currently supports initiatives in the U.S., Africa, the Caribbean, India, and Central America, and leads active prison ministries across the globe, including in Haiti and Malawi.

Born in Fort Worth and raised in Grapevine, Jack Brewer was a state champion and record holder in football and track. He earned a full scholarship to the University of Minnesota, where he became team captain and led the nation in tackles for defensive backs, earning First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2001. Brewer graduated with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees before going on to play in the NFL for the Vikings, Giants, Eagles, and Cardinals, serving as team captain for multiple teams and earning recognition for his leadership both on and off the field.

After his NFL career, Jack Brewer became a top wealth manager at Merrill Lynch before founding The Brewer Group, a diversified holding company in finance, sports, education, media, and tech. Through Brewer Capital and Brewer Sports International, he managed over $60 million in assets and led $30 million in sports-related lending. As an adjunct professor, Brewer went on to create Executive Masters of Business Administration programs at University of Miami as well as Fordham Gabelli School of Business, helping over 80 professional athletes graduate with their EMBA.

As a public servant and thought leader, Jack bridges policy, purpose, and faith. He founded NFL Players for Obama in 2008 and in 2019 he went on to serve as the Chair of the Black Voices for Trump Victory Fund. In 2020, he was appointed to the White House Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys, where he champions criminal justice reform, opportunity zones, and school choice. He now serves as Chair of the Center for Opportunity Now at the America First Policy Institute and holds board positions with organizations including Geo Group (Lead Director), CPAC Foundation, Black Conservative Federation (Chairman), and Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation. He has received numerous awards, including a White House appointment, the Key to the City of Minneapolis, and international recognitions for his humanitarian work through roles with the UN, Peace & Sport, and global heads of state.
