David Barton

David Barton is the Founder of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage.
WallBuilders is a name taken from the Old Testament writings of Nehemiah, who led a grassroots movement to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and restore its strength and honor. In the same way, WallBuilders seeks to energize today’s grassroots to become involved in strengthening their communities, states, and nation. David is the author of numerous best-selling books, with subjects drawn largely from his massive library of tens of thousands of original writings from the Founding Era. He also addresses well over 200 groups each year. His exhaustive research has rendered him an expert in historical and constitutional issues and he serves as a consultant to state and federal legislators, has participated in several cases at the Supreme Court, and has helped produce history textbooks now used in schools across the nation. A national news organization has described him as “America’s historian,” and Time Magazine called him “a hero to millions – including some powerful politicians.” Newsmax named him as one of America’s top 100 most influential evangelicals, and Time Magazine named him as one of America’s top 25. David and his wife Cheryl reside in Aledo, Texas. They have three grown, married children (Damaris, Timothy, and Stephen), and five grandchildren

Tim Barton

Timothy Barton is the President of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that has been recognized from coast-to-coast for its work in education, history, law, and public policy, integrating the elements of Biblical faith and morality throughout all aspects of American life and culture. Tim shares the truth of America’s founding and exposes the lies regarding our history that currently permeate our society. He consults with state and federal legislators on policy and speaks to groups across the nation. Tim’s ability to tell the story of America’s past, while helping people understand how that connects to the present, has inspired audiences nationwide. Tim has been a guest on numerous national television and radio programs including The Ben Shapiro Show, the Glenn Beck Program, TBN, Andrew Wommack Ministries, Believer’s Voice of Victory, Epoch Times, Newsmax, and many more. Tim holds a degree in Business Management and a minor in Biblical Studies and is an ordained minister previously serving as a youth minister, worship leader, and assistant pastor. He worked for several years as a senior counselor at a large youth camp in Arkansas and served as an athletic director, teacher, and coach at a Christian School in Texas. Regardless of where he is, Tim speaks into the lives of those around him, encouraging them to follow Christ whole-heartedly. Tim lives in Cresson, Texas, with his wife, Gabi, and daughters, Finley and Phoebe.

Audrea Decker

Audrea is a speaker, writer and servant leader championing the Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation was built. Her passion and organizational skills have allowed her to work directly for some of the nation’s leading influencers. In addition to her work with David and Tim Barton as Executive Director for the Pro-Family Legislative Network at WallBuilders, she has led Special Projects for Glenn Beck at Mercury Radio Arts, worked with Dinesh D’Souza, assisted Dr. Jim Garlow’s in his book, Well-Versed, and has been a frequent television and radio commentator including on Fox News Laura Ingram’s Show. She worked alongside Congresswoman Michelle Bachman and Dr. Garlow to establish the Well-Versed Ministry at the United Nations in New York and worked as the Communication and Strategic Initiatives Director for My Faith Votes, of which Mike Huckabee serves as the Honorary National Chairman. As a teenager Audrea founded the non-profit organization, im2moro which has gone on to reach students on more than 250 Christian university campuses, informing them about the importance of voting. Today, Audrea enjoys assisting legislators and connecting them with policy experts, attorneys, and legislators from other states to advance pro-family policy. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University and is a fellow of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. Audrea resides in Texas with her husband Jonathan Decker and their three daughters.

Mike Huckabee

In November 2024, President-elect Trump nominated former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee to be U.S. Ambassador to Israel.  He was elected Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas in 1993.  When his predecessor resigned, Huckabee became Governor of Arkansas from July 1996 until 2007, gaining national recognition for his successes as governor.  Huckabee ran for president in 2008, coming in second for the Republican nomination to former Senator John McCain.  Huckabee hosted a daily radio show called The Huckabee Report and the number one rated weekend show on the Fox News Channel for 6 1/2 years.  He ran for president in 2016, losing the Republican nomination to President Donald Trump.  Starting in 2017, Huckabee hosted a weekend show on TBN called Huckabee, which ended after his nomination in 2025.  Before his career in public office, Huckabee had a career in Christian broadcasting and advertising and served as a pastor for 12 years.

Throughout his entire career, Huckabee has maintained a strong pro-Israel stance.  Huckabee’s convictions are founded in his evangelical Christian beliefs, which include support for Israeli control over their ancient and indigenous homeland.  Huckabee has advocated traditional conservative values and has been active in the pro-life movement.  He has opposed excessive taxation and harsh government regulation.  Huckabee has been a strong voice for strict adherence to the Constitution.

Huckabee has led dozens of religious trips to Israel and is incredibly knowledgeable about Israeli geography and politics.  Huckabee has been married to Janet McCain since 1974, and they have three children together, John Mark, David, and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.  They have 7 grandchildren.  Huckabee has been a musician since the age of 11 and enjoys playing bass guitar and is a member of the classic-rock cover band Capitol Offense.

Huckabee graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1976, where he received his 4-year bachelor’s degree in 2 ½ years, graduating magna cum laude.  He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary before continuing his career in broadcasting that he had started in local radio at the age of 14.  Huckabee founded local community television channels in Pine Bluff and Texarkana, Arkansas.  Huckabee also served as a pastor and served as the President of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, from 1989-1991.

Sara A. Carter

Sara Carter currently serves President Trump and the American people as Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, leading the Administration’s efforts to combat the trafficking of illicit drugs and strengthen public health and safety. She leads the implementation of the President’s National Drug Control Strategy, working with federal, state, local, and tribal leaders to keep dangerous drugs out of American communities. As our nation’s Drug Czar, she is dedicated to serving the American people and protecting families across the country.

She was a Fox News Contributor and wrote for saraacarter.com. She previously worked for Sinclair News group, Los Angeles News Group, The Blaze, The Washington Times, The Washington Examiner, and wrote numerous exclusives for U.S.A. Today, U.S. News & World Report, and Arutz Sheva in Israel. She was the host of the Sara Carter Show podcast.

Carter’s reporting included front line coverage of the Afghanistan, Iraq wars and the ongoing war on terrorism. Her investigations on the U.S. Mexico border uncovered secret tunnels, narcotics trafficking routes and the involvement of Mexican federal officials in the drug trade. Carter received two National Headliner Awards as well as the Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi award for her multiple-part series that uncovered the brutality of cartel wars along the Mexican border.

She writes investigative columns at Foxnews.com. She also wrote, produced and appeared in an award-winning documentary in 2018, “Not In Vein,” investigating the growing opioid and fentanyl crisis in the United States.

Carter’s mother is a Cuban immigrant and her father was a Marine veteran of two wars. She has six children and is married to her war-hero husband, blinded while on a mission fighting terrorists in Afghanistan for the Department of War.

Bette Grande

Bette is a leading national policy expert who has been instrumental in the passage of pro-family legislation in North Dakota and across the country. Bette served in the state legislature in North Dakota from 1996 – 2014. Throughout her time in office, she served on the Appropriations committee, and the Finance & Tax Committee, and was the Chairman of the Government & Veterans Affairs and Employee Benefits Standing Committees. She was also the State Director for NFWL (National Foundation of Women Legislators). She served as Chairman of the American Legislative Exchange Council’s Energy, Environment and Agriculture Task Force. Bette has been a trailblazer defender for the sanctity of life, serving as the Past Chairman of the North Dakota Pro-Life Caucus and Founder of Heartbeat North Dakota. She was named Concerned Women of America’s (CWA) Legislator of the Year in 2009 and named one of North Dakota’s Family Alliance Women of the Year in 2012.  She is also the CEO/President of Roughrider Policy Center, DBA as Roughrider Institute. She consults with the Heartland Institute on Government Relations-Energy and Environmental Policy. Bette has a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Minor in Sports Medicine from the University of North Dakota. She has been Married to Don (40+ yrs.), and has three children and four grandsons. When she is not working on legislation, she enjoys playing with her grandchildren, gardening, and being outside in nature.

Honorable Brian Birdwell

Confirmed by the Senate in May, 2026, the Honorable Brian Birdwell currently serves as the Assistant Secretary of War for Sustainment (ASW(S)). As the ASW(S), HON Birdwell is the principal staff assistant and advisor to the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition & Sustainment (USW(A&S)), Deputy Secretary of War, and Secretary of War on Department of War (DoW) logistics, materiel readiness, and product support. HON Birdwell also oversees the Defense Logistics Agency and Defense Microelectronics Activity and, on behalf of the USW(A&S), is the principal logistics official for the DoW.

Prior to his swearing in as the ASW(S), HON Birdwell served in elected office, representing the communities in the 12 counties of Texas State Senate District 22. First elected to the Texas State Senate in a special election in June 2010, HON Birdwell served as a State Senator through May 2026. While in the Texas State Senate, HON Birdwell served as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and the Senate Committee on Border Security along with numerous other committee assignments. In 2021, HON Birdwell was selected by his fellow Senate colleagues to serve as the President Pro Tempore of the Texas State Senate for the 87th Regular Session.

Prior to elected office, HON Birdwell had a distinguished career with the U.S. Army. As the Distinguished Military Graduate of the Lamar University Army ROTC program, HON Birdwell was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army in 1984 and served a 20-year career in both Field Artillery and Quartermaster billets with numerous training deployments and two operational deployments.

In 1990, he deployed to Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for Exceptional Meritorious Achievement and as part of the 2nd ACR battle group was awarded the Valorous Unit Award for action at the Battle of the 73rd Easting. In 1998, he deployed to Central America as the Joint Operations Officer for Joint Task Force Aguila to execute humanitarian relief operations in the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch.

In 2001, HON Birdwell was serving on the Department of the Army staff at the Pentagon as the military aide to the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. On September 11th, when American Airlines Flight 77 was crashed just yards away from his second floor Pentagon office, HON Birdwell was critically wounded and severely burned. Of the burns that covered more than 60 percent of his body, nearly half were third degree in severity. HON Birdwell was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received that day. Upon retirement in July 2004, he was awarded the Legion of Merit.

Motivated by his personal experience on September 11th and during his recovery, HON Birdwell and his wife Mel, operated Face the Fire Ministries from 2004 to 2017 which they jointly founded to support critical-burn survivors and wounded service-members and their families.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, HON Birdwell is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he earned a Master of Public Administration degree. HON Birdwell was a 2024 inductee in the U.S. Field Artillery Association Hall of Fame. In 2025, HON Birdwell was inducted in the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

The Birdwells have been married for more than 35 years and have one son, Matt, daughter-in-law, Ann Marie, and two grandchildren.

Rosemary Graber

Rosemary was born as the sixth child of eight, to an Amish family. When she was three her family was excommunicated from the Amish, as a result of her parents converting to Christianity. After a homeschool civics class during senior year piqued her interest, her journey into the political world began. She attended Patriot Academy’s Leadership Congress from 2011-2017. She loved mentoring new students and was honored to serve as Governor of the National Academy in 2015. For the past 12 years Rosemary has worked in the Texas political world. Working three legislative sessions and for many campaigns across Texas, including Rick Green’s run for the Texas Supreme Court in 2016. For the past five years she has done graphic design and communication work for Texas Values, helping fight for the values of faith, family & freedom in Texas. She is excited to be able to continue defending those values working with the Pro-Family Legislative Network at WallBuilders!
