Kelly Shackelford is the founder, President and CEO of First Liberty Institute. Celebrating 30 years next year, First Liberty is the nation’s largest legal organization dedicated exclusively to defending religious liberty. As a distinguished constitutional scholar and experienced attorney, Mr. Shackelford has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and testified before Congress. Over the past ten years, First Liberty has won eleven Supreme Court victories, including Kennedy v. Bremerton and Groff v. DeJoy- and they will be returning to fight new cases at the Supreme Court in the upcoming months. Kelly currently serves on President Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission and the Board of Trustees of the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society.
