Tami Brown Rodriquez
Policy Strategist & Advocate for Reform, Jaco Booyens Ministry
Tami Brown Rodriquez is a nationally respected policy strategist and the Director of Policy & Licensing at Jaco Booyens Ministries (JBM), where she leads legislative reform in digital safety, human trafficking prevention, and child protection.
With more than 25 years of experience in regulatory compliance and operations, Tami has authored or supported over 76 bills across 20 states—advancing reforms to repeal educational obscenity exemptions, enforce age verification, and establish specialized trafficking courts. Most notably, she spearheaded Texas HB 4623, a landmark law piercing sovereign immunity to hold public schools accountable for covering up or failing to investigate educator sexual-misconduct complaints.
Tami has also represented JBM’s voice before the U.S. Supreme Court through amicus briefs in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton, Mahmoud v. Taylor, and Chiles v. Salazar—defending state authority to protect minors online, parental rights in education, and counselors’ freedom to provide faith-based guidance.
Before joining JBM, Tami founded and built a national trade association that united a fragmented industry and successfully passed consumer protection laws in all 50 states. She has advised more than 250 companies on compliance, systems design, and government relations—earning recognition as a results-driven leader who bridges policy and practice.
Her work has been honored with the Women in Business Award from the Dallas Business Journal and recognition in Cambridge Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals.
